This weekend the 'Making a Difference' market stall is celebrating 21 years of service in Newport. The stall was set up by Cheryl and Jenny to provide low cost items for families in the town. It then moved on to support fairtrade, and was the first provider of fairtrade products in the town. Over the years, we have been grateful for Jane and Pauline's management of the stall and their entrepreneurial spirit. We remain committed to ethical and fair trade, still stocking products that provide the producers with a fair wage, and supporting organisations that work to enable others to stand tall both in the UK and overseas. We are thankful to Newport Christian Fellowship for their financial sponsorship, and to Churches Together in Newport for the volunteers who run the stall on a weekly basis.
